Project activities and research presented in Porto
iPROLEPSIS was represented at the IEEE Body Sensor Networks (BSN) 2026 conference, held on 10–12 October 2026 in Porto, Portugal.
IEEE BSN is an international conference focused on wearable and body sensor technologies, bringing together researchers and experts working in biosignal sensing and related fields.
Project partner PLUX Biosignals presented the iPROLEPSIS project and showcased its new line of wearable systems and biosignal acquisition hardware.
Research conducted within iPROLEPSIS was also presented by project partner Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Niovi Peratikou presented the study “Smartphone-Based Gait Analysis for Mobility Assessment in Rheumatic Diseases”, which explores smartphone-derived gait digital biomarkers and machine learning methods to identify mobility-related differences in individuals with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
The project’s participation in IEEE BSN 2026 helped increase the visibility of iPROLEPSIS within the scientific community and provided opportunities to present its research, exchange knowledge and explore potential future collaborations.
