Digital biomarkers in serious games for patients with Psoriatic Arthritis
The iPROLEPSIS Serious Games were presented at the DSAI 2026 Conference, the 12th International Conference on Software Development and Technologies for Enhancing Accessibility and Fighting Info-exclusion, held in Alexandroupolis, Greece.
On 23 June 2026, Bárbara Ramalho from FMH ULisboa gave a presentation titled “Digital Biomarkers in Serious Games for Patients with Psoriatic Arthritis”.
The presentation showcased how the iPROLEPSIS mobile game suite, co-designed with patients and clinicians, captures multimodal digital biomarkers through Breathing games, Exergames and NoPain games, using smartphone and smartwatch sensors.
These signals, including heart rate, stress, breathing accuracy, mobility and motor control, support continuous, real-world monitoring and advance digital phenotyping for Psoriatic Arthritis.
